ألكنيسة الانجيلية المعمدانية العربية في أوتاوا
The English ministry began in 2013 as a response to a need in the church. Many of the youth and young adults, who grew up in Canada and attend our church, struggle to properly understand the Arabic language. For this reason, we found it necessary to minister the Word of God in a language clearly understood, for our Lord taught us: "When anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what has been sown in his heart." (Matthew 13:19) Brother Kenny Wallace and his wife Elizabeth were an answer to many heartfelt prayers.
Our objective and main goal is to glorify and honor our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The Holy Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. There is One God eternally existent in three equal persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. According to God's living Word, found in the Holy Scriptures, we trust in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood on the cross, in His bodily resurrection, and in His personal return in power and glory. Jesus taught that both heaven and hell exist. Soon, there will be a resurrection of the saved and the lost. Christ will judge the nations, and those who have not believed in him will die a second death in eternal hell. We look forward to being united with Christ in new bodies in a new creation.
God sent His only Son for the redemption of all mankind, of all peoples of the world. Instructions for all tribes of man were given by our Creator and handed down from generation to generation as a command by God. God, in His infinite wisdom knows that all mankind is sinful and cannot live up to His commands, thus making it necessary for a Savior, Jesus Christ. Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for salvation. It is not by any works that man is saved, but only by faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. Believers are spiritually united in Christ and evidence of this can be found in their lives: works of faith that attest to their salvation. They bear good spiritual fruit in keeping with repentance.
trusting, following, praising!
